IF YOU WANT TO EAT RAW GARLIC BUT DON'T LIKE THE TASTE THESE ARE FOR YOU
Raw garlic is best for you but I don't care for the taste. I found these and decided to try them. They have a great flavor and are actually a superfood with more health benefits than regular garlic. This is also one of the best prices I have found for them and less than I had found them in the store for and free shipping. Research the properties of them and give them a try. They are solid black all the way through with a creamy texture like eating fudge but with a unique taste to me is mildly sweet and doesn't taste like garlic.
Oh my, this stuff is delicious! I eat a whole one every day, like a piece of sweet, earthy, mild roasted garlic flavored fudge. So far I've added this to eggs, soup/broth, chicken, burger, compound butter, cheese, pasta, rice, bread and the list goes on. I love these. If you like garlic in any way, you pu will enjoy this. I now can see why you would take a month to make black garlic.
I admit; I have only used one clove so far. The smell is STRONG! I was so intimidated that I kept it on the shelf, unsure how I would use it. Recently I was broiling veggies on the top rack of my oven, and I added one bulb, broken up.
The taste was heavenly. It was not too strong after cooking. I really, amazingly, liked it, and my coworkers did not complain about the smell.
